Fairfield, AL – The Miles College Community Development Corporation (CDC) is making a transformative impact in Fairfield by providing affordable housing options for low-income families. Partnering with local contractors and city officials, the CDC recently unveiled a series of renovated homes designed to accommodate families in need.
"We are committed to revitalizing Fairfield while ensuring families have a safe and affordable place to call home," said Dr. John Smith, Director of the Miles College CDC.
Families like the Johnsons, who moved into one of the newly renovated homes last month, shared how the program has changed their lives. "This house is more than a roof over our heads; it’s a chance to rebuild and grow as a family," said Mrs. Johnson.
With plans to expand the initiative further, the Miles College CDC continues to foster stability and hope for Fairfield residents.
